Renting a Vespa with an audio guide is the most fun and typical way to discover all the treasures that surround Florence, the city of the Renaissance.
When booking, you can choose the itinerary you prefer to follow. In both options, you'll leave from the office located on Borgo Ognissanti and you'll drive the scooters following the route marked by an audio guide in English that you can download on your smartphone.
Piazzale Michelangelo & Fiesole route (4 hours)
Setting off on the Vespas at 10 am, you'll ride up to the beautiful town of Fiesole, famous for its Roman theater, medieval buildings, and beautiful views of Florence and its surrounding valleys.
From Fiesole, the route will continue until you reach Piazzale Michelangelo, a majestic square located in the Florentine hills offering incredible views of the Duomo, the Arno River, and the famous bridge of Ponte Vecchio.
Finally, you'll descend along the scenic Viale dei Colli road to enter the Oltrarno district, where you'll enjoy a tasting of Tuscan wines accompanied by a selection of typical products, a real treat!
The tour will conclude by returning to the meeting point at 2 pm.
Chianti route (8 hours)
After picking up the scooters at 10 am, you'll set off for the Tuscan countryside to discover the beautiful Chianti region. While driving, you'll be able to admire its hills, vineyards, and medieval towns like Montefioralle and Greve in Chianti.
During the route, you'll have the opportunity to get off the Vespas to explore these charming towns and stroll through their cobblestone streets. In Greve in Chianti, you'll also enjoy a typical lunch in a trattoria.
After lunch, you can continue your ride along the scenic roads of Chianti until you return to Florence to leave the scooters at 6 pm.
